Halle Berry's ex demands 20k dollars per month in child support

Washington, May 4 (ANI): Halle Berry's former partner Gabriel Aubry wants 20,000 dollars per month in child support payments from the actress for looking after their daughter Nahla.

The 36-year-old model is also asking the judge in his custody war with the Golden Globe Award-winning actress for 500,000 dollars in attorney's fees.

Aubry was in court on May 3, expecting to argue his case for the large increase in child support .

However, the case was continued because the paperwork wasn't filled out properly.

According to insiders, Aubry was extremely upset that the matter was put off, Contactmusic reported.

Sources told TMZ that Aubry believes he is entitled to the money because he needs a proper environment to care for four-year-old Nahla.

The 'Monster's Ball' star wants to move with the child from Los Angeles to Paris, which would have a direct impact on Aubry's request for additional support.

Aubry is fighting against the move and their judge has yet to officially make a decision.

The 45-year-old actress had previously spoken about relocating to France with fiance Olivier Martinez, in favour of the country's laws which will protect her offspring from prying eyes.

"Laws that protect children, protect right to privacy. All I want is for my family and myself to have a normal life. When I'm not at work, that's very important to me," she said. (ANI)
