London, June 7 (ANI): Kim Kardashian posted a picture of a pearl-handled Yves Saint Laurant pistol on her Twitter and Instagram accounts on Wednesday, captioning it with the words 'Bang bang'.

The curvaceous 31-year-old's post set off a flurry of comments from her followers.

Some were admiring: "A YSL gun? Great for us chicks that love high fashion!" the Daily Mail reported.

Other comments were critical: "Oh that is setting a great example to the millions of teens around the world following you", said one follower on Twitter.

There was also no shortage of sassy humour, with one fan writing: "Don't need it! You're A$$ is bullet proof" [sic]

It wasn't clear from her post whether the gun - which has been popping up on a handful of pop-culture sites - is a real gun or just a fashion accessory.

The professional celebrity likely got her taste for guns about four years ago, during the second season of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'. (ANI)
