New book to tell all about Adele's private life

London, June 11 (ANI): A new book on music industry's most reluctant celebrity, Adele, promises to lift the lid on her private life.

Biographer Marc Shapiro has penned the unofficial tome, which is due to hit stands next month.

The book chronicles the singer-songwriter's childhood in North London as the daughter of a single mother and also reveals the vicissitudes of her love life.

The biography also tells about the singer's vocal-cord haemorrhage, which led to her needing surgery and cancelling her U.S. tour last year.

"I tend to tell my stories without overt sensationalism," the daily Mail quoted says Shapiro as saying, who has also written a book on Justin Bieber.

" Adele has still remained largely that salt-of-the-earth girl from Tottenham," he said.

However, the 24-year-old crooner turned down Shapiro's requests for an interview for the book. (ANI)
