Billie Piper plays lesbian teacher who falls for female student in 'True Love'

London, June 17 (ANI): Billie Piper is playing the role of a teacher who enjoys a lesbian fling with one of her 16-year-old pupils.

The actress who has already taken on the controversial role of Belle Du Jour in 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl', will now be seen sharing passionate kisses and a number of bed scenes with her teenage student in BBC1 drama, 'True Love'.

The pupil, played by Kaya Scodelario , ignores her classmates teasing and is seen telling her teacher Holly that she loves her, the Daily Mail reported.

"This storyline will get some criticism but it's been well researched and is similar to real-life events," a BBC source told The Mirror.

' True Love' will be aired on BBC1 on Sunday. (ANI)
