'Harry Potter' final film breaks $1bn milestone

Washington, August 01 (ANI): 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2' has grossed over 1 billion dollars at the box office worldwide.

The final chapter of the JK Rowling's Harry Potter series has now become a part of the elite 1-billion-dollars club at the box office, Contactmusic reported.

The movie, starring Daniel Radcliffe has now become the highest-grossing film of the series.

Only nine movies have reached this milestone which includes 'Titanic', 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King', 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest', 'The Dark Knight', 'Avatar', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Toy Story 3', and most recently 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'.
