Alicia Keys to voice support for Obama at re-election campaign

Washington, July 13 (ANI): President Obama's re-election campaign will be given a big boost by Alicia Keys, when the singer speaks at a special event in Pennsylvania next week to rally support from female voters.

Keys, 31, will address attendees at the Women 2012 Vote Summit in Philadelphia on Monday and will encourage ladies to become more politically active, Contactmusic reported.

The 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker wanted her fellow females to make their voices heard in the upcoming elections as their votes will be key in the race for the White House between the Democrat or his Republican rival, Mitt Romney.

The singer had previously thrown her support for Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign. (ANI)
