'The Simpsons' to surprise fans with Olympic themed episode

London, August 2 (ANI): ' The Simpsons' bosses will be airing a special episode that will see Marge's chain-smoking sisters Patty and Selma rowing down the Thames.

The foul-mouthed pair of the popular animated series will be seen passing landmarks such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in the Olympic-themed episode.

The special will give a nod to Facebook movie 'The Social Network,' with the sisters somehow finding themselves competing against US rowers the Winklevoss twins in London Olympics .

Armie Hammer has reprised his 'Social Network' role of both brothers -who appear to sport Bradley Wiggins-style sideburns.

"A rowing event at the 2012 Games transforms into a sibling-off when the dapper duo find themselves up against chain-smoking Patty and Selma," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

The episode will be aired on Sky1 at 6 pm on Sunday. (ANI)
