Venus Williams hopes raw veggies bring her back to top of women's tennis

London, Nov 14 (ANI): Venus Williams has revealed that she believes a diet of raw vegetables will blast her back to the top of women's tennis.

The 31-year-old five-time Wimbledon champ was recently dropped out of the U.S Open minutes before she was due to go on court due to an autoimmune disease.

"Now my diet is lots of vegetables. It has put my body back in balance," the Sun quoted her as saying.

The seven-time Grand Slam winner was diagnosed with Sjogren syndrome, the disease that affects glandular tissues - most notably the tear and saliva glands. (ANI)
