Kris Humphries inks 1-year deal with former team for $8m

Washington, Dec 21 (ANI): Kris Humphries will be re-signing with the New Jersey Nets for a one-year deal of 7 to 8 million dollars, according to NBA sources.

According to the New York Post, the 26-year-old basketball star is expected to rejoin his old team on Dec 21 night in a preseason game with the New York Knicks.

The 6-foot-9 player had been out of a job for months due to the recently resolved NBA lockout, and his jobless days coincided with his ill-fated marriage to Kim Kardashian , which lasted just 72 days before she filed for divorce on Oct 31, Us Magazine reported.

In the interim before his re-signing, Humphries also landed an endorsement deal with Sector watches said to be worth about 150,000 dollars. (ANI)
