Coleen Rooney receives death threat for congratulating Liverpool

   Feb 28, 12:57 pm

London, Feb 28 (ANI): Coleen Rooney was sent a death threat on Twitter by an angry Man U fan after she congratulated Liverpool on winning the Carling Cup.

The Reds defeated Cardiff City 3-2 on penalties in Sunday's game.

"Congratulations Liverpool!!!" the Mirror quoted Coleen, 25, as tweeting after the match.

Manchester United fans were furious that striker Wayne Rooney's wife was a fan of their arch rivals.

"I used to like you and now I want all your family to burn," said a user with the Twitter name M.U.F.C@thebrickie

Another wrote "Are you allowed to say things like this Coleen?!", to which she replied "Of course."

Coleen told her 610,000 followers she was "brought up a Liverpool supporter", despite Wayne's family being Evertonians. (ANI)
