Augusta champ Bubba Watson's larger than life off the field life revealed

Washington, Apr 10 (ANI): As Bubba Watson emerged as the new champion of the Masters of golf at the National Augusta Club yesterday; few people may know that he is also popular for his larger-than- life personality off the field.

According to a compilation by the Daily Mirror, Watson's most expensive accessory is a watch his left wrist as opposed to other golfers who would invest in golf clubs. He is also a charity supporter and formed "Bubba and Friends Drive to a million" with the help of his sponsors and club providers PING which donates $300 for the first 300 drives Bubba hits over 300 yards during competition in 2012.

Bubba reportedly owns one of the most iconic cars in television history, an orange 1969 Dodge Charger, which cost him a cool 110,000 dollars.

His wife Angie Watson, six feet four inches and an inch taller than Bubba, is a former basketball star, who played for the University of Georgia before going on to play professionally in Europe and in the Women's NBA in the US, the paper reported.

Bubba is also one member of The Golf Boys, the sport star's very own boy band, the report added.

Just two weeks ago the pair started a new family together after adopting their first child, Caleb. "I can't wait to get back. I haven't changed a diaper yet so [I'm] probably going to have to change a diaper pretty soon," Watson was quoted as saying post his victory.

According to the report, pop sensation Justin Bieber and Bubba are reportedly 'best friends' after they met on a celebrity golf day.(ANI)
