Andy has given me new appreciation for my figure, says Brooklyn Decker

London, Apr 12 (ANI): Brooklyn Decker , who recently flaunted her toned stomach in a pair of pink underpants and a midriff baring vest on the cover of Women's Health magazine, has credited her sportsman husband Andy Roddick for changing the way she feels about her body.

The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model, who has been married to tennis champion Andy Roddick for three years, has spoken out about a variety of subjects including her food philosophy to her exercise tips.

"Being married to Andy has given me a new appreciation for my body," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling the Health magazine.

"He's taught me that it's not how thin you are that matters. It's how your body performs, how it endures wear and tear," she said.

Though she claims to eat 'like a 12-year-old', Decker admits that she keeps her fabulous figure by forgoing most sugary foods.

"I try not to think about foods that are too fattening or too sugary. I always think about why it's important to eat the best foods," she said.

"By not obsessing over the bad, I tend to stick with the good," she said.

Decker also says that she dances and kayaks to keep herself in shape, while listening to Taylor Swift songs to get herself going.

Hiking also helps, and served as a bonding experience for herself and Battleship co-star Taylor Kitsch, as well.

"You create a bonding experience that you never would have had. My hike with Taylor Kitsch was very strenuous, and we needed ropes to get to the top of the summit," she said.

"But when we were finished, we knew each other a lot better than if we had just had the usual dinner and drinks night," she added. (ANI)
