Washington, Apr 13 (ANI): Nicole Scherzinger has backed Britney Spears for a judging role on US ' X Factor'.

The 30-year-old singer has been tipped as one of the two new judges on the panel of the reality TV show, replacing Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton 's girlfriend and Paula Abdul.

"Britney is so bubbly and warm and everyone loves her anyway, so she just has to be herself," Contactmusic quoted the former Pussycat Doll as telling E! News.

"I think that it's something that we can't deny, but there's something about Britney that we...are always rooting for her and behind her no matter what," she said.

British singer Jessie J also believes Spears would be a great judge, because she has been through it all before.

"I think it's really important to have people who have lived it.

They can understand what these artists who are auditioning go through and really know how it feels to have rejection and have success. And I think that she's someone who's shown how to have a career with longevity.

I think it's definitely something that the show [needs]," Jessie J added. (ANI)
