London, Apr 20 (ANI): Victoria Beckham has revealed that she likes to use social network sites so her fans can see the 'real' her through her online posts.

The singer-turned-fashion-designer has been increasingly using the microblogging site to keep her fans updated with her business and personal life.

And she's enjoyed using Twitter so much she even opened up a new Victoria Beckham Facebook page on Tuesday - which has already garnered over 100,000 likes.

The wife of footballer David Beckham , who also turned 38 on Tuesday, has now opened up about using the internet to communicate with her fans and has insisted they now know her more humorous and intimate sides due to the medium.

"It's been a really interesting experience. I try to give some personal insights to my followers as well as keeping them abreast of the business," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling WWD.com.

"I also think that my fans and customers really get to know me and my sense of humour through my tweets. I think people see the real me."

The former Spice Girl has over three million online followers on Twitter, where she announced on Tuesday morning that she had also opened her Facebook account.

"You can now follow me on Facebook for all the latest updates on the #VictoriaBeckham collections! X VB http://www.facebook.com/victoriabeckham", she tweeted.

And the singer's revealed she will be using her Facebook page more for her business outlet - although she has already posted up photos of balloons in her living room to show off her birthday celebrations.

" Facebook is definitely more brand focused although I hope to be able to bring my personality to the page. Twitter for me is more personally focused," she added. (ANI)
