Fabrice Muamba's collapse witnessed by son on TV

London, Apr 24 (ANI): Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba's three-year-old son cried out when he saw him collapse on TV during a football match as he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Joshua called out "Mummy, daddy is frozen", as they looked on helplessly during the live game.

The Barclays Premier League star's fiancee Shauna Magunda said the boy at first thought his dad was play-acting after his cardiac arrest during an FA Cup game.

"He said, 'Get up Fabrice.' But I burst into tears. The players' reaction told me something was seriously wrong," the Sun quoted her as saying.

She also spoke out, on Monday, about how she arrived at his hospital bedside after his cardiac arrest - to find him looking like a corpse.

"Doctors had told me to expect Fab to be brain damaged," Shauna fought tears as she recalled.

"He was in critical care and breathing through a machine. He was so cold to the touch. He looked dead, like a corpse . There's no other way to describe it," she added. (ANI)
