Man City captain Kompany tips Tevez to pile misery on ex-club Man U during derby

   Apr 28, 12:40 pm

London, Apr 28(ANI): Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany believes Carlos Tevez is ready to return and haunt his former club Manchester United during the highly anticipated Manchester derby on Monday.

Tevez, who swapped United for City three years ago, is back among the goals having gone AWOL earlier this season, scoring four goals in his last three games.

Kompany believes Tevez is back to his best, and would love to score against his old club United.

"Carlos has done what everyone knew he was capable of which is scoring goals. His passion on the pitch has been great," The Daily Mirror quoted Kompany, as saying.

"I can say one thing about Carlos - the great thing about him is that he approaches every single game like it's the most important of his life,' he added.

"He did it against Wolves, he did it against Norwich and he'll do it against United. He's a guaranteed performer, that's what you get from him. But I'll be very surprised if there is any player not up to the same level of motivation," he said. (ANI)
