London, Apr 28 (ANI): Alexandra Burke posted a picture of her drinking wine as rumours of her boyfriend Jermain Defoe's alleged affair spreads like wildfire.

Just days after the singer and the footie star went public about their relationship, nursing assistant and part-time model Laura Brown, 23, from Newcastle claimed to have had sex with the Spurs striker.

Brown said that she went back to his hotel, having met him twice previously and become friends with him on Facebook.

"I'm not going to lie - we had sex," the Mirror quoted her as telling the Sun.

"I never planned on sleeping with him, it just happened," she added.

Instead of responding to the claims, Burke took to her Twitter account to express her love for wine, saying "Wine helps!" (ANI)
