Chelsea striker Torres vows 'more to come' after scoring hat trick against QPR

   Apr 30, 5:22 pm

London, Apr 30 (ANI): Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has claimed that 'there is more to come' after he scored a hat trick against Queens Park Rangers ( QPR).

The hat trick was a follow-up to his Champions League strike at the Nou Camp, and helped the Blues to a 6-1 win against their London neighbours.

"It was an important result and I'm happy with the hat-trick, hopefully it will be the first of many," The Sun quoted Torres as saying.

The hat trick has shown that Torres has finally rediscovered the form that persuaded Blues owner Roman Abramovich to spend 50 million pounds to sign him from Liverpool 18 months ago.

But last week's goal at Barca, which clinched a Champions League final date with Bayern Munich, and this hat trick against Rangers suggests that he may be back to his prolific scoring ways.

Torres said: "The important thing for me is being in the best form of the season with more important games to come". (ANI)
