Chantelle Houghton tells ex lover Jermain Defoe's girlfriend to ditch him

   May 1, 2:31 pm

London, May 1 (ANI): Jermain Defoe's former lover Chantelle Houghton has called the footie star "a nasty little rat" for allegedly cheating on his current girlfriend Alexandra Burke.

According to reports, Defoe enjoyed a hotel fling with Geordie model Laura Brown, 23, in Newcastle, having met her in person only twice previously.

Houghton, who is ready to give birth to her child and is also engaged to be married, hasn't stopped badmouthing her ex boyfriend.

The 28-year-old glamour model slammed Defoe in her weekly magazine column following reports that he has cheated on Burke.

Houghton referred to her own relationship with the Tottenham Hotspur player and advised the 'X Factor' winner to "ditch him."

"I have heard that Jermain Defoe has allegedly slept with another woman behind Alexandra Burke's back," the Daily Mail quoted the blonde as writing on new! magazine.

"All I can say is that I really wouldn't be surprised if it's true, because he cheated on me too! I think that he's a nasty little rat and should concentrate on scoring on the pitch rather than off it!" she said.

Houghton - who is expecting her first child with Alex Reid - dated Defoe back in 2008 but revealed that she wishes she'd "never got involved with him."

"I hate the way he treats women. Anyway, how did he ever pull Alexandra Burke in the first place? I don't know her, but I would definitely encourage her to ditch him," she added. (ANI)
