Elin Nordegren's lavish plans for Florida's dream home revealed

London, May 3 (ANI): Elin Nordegren, Tiger Wood's ex wife who had the most turbulent time in her life because of her golfer husband's philandering ways, is now making sure that she is able to relax.

Work on the 32-year-old former model's new oceanfront home in Florida has begun and plans reveal she is having a Zen-like Koi pond built in the garden, the Daily Mail reported.

There will also be waterfalls, a spa and an Olympic sized swimming pool. There's no mention of any golfing facilities.

Details of the plans for the garden were reportedly filed by Palm Beach based landscape designers E.S. Unlimited.

A spokesman for the company declined to comment when asked about being hired by Nordegren to design the garden at her 21,000sq ft home.

Nordegren, who received a 100-million-dollar divorce settlement after divorcing her golf star husband 18 months ago following his multiple affairs, is having a new 21,000sq ft home built in North Palm Beach.

She had bought a 1932 built house for 12.2-million-dollar, but promptly knocked the property down to make way for an ultra modern house that will include a wine room, gym and theatre.

Her master bedroom suite will be 1,200 sq ft and enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean

The Swedish born former nanny was criticised for destroying the property but she insisted it would have taken too much work to restore the home which was not hurricane proof and infested with bugs.

She gave Habitat for Humanity of Martin County, a month to go through the structure and salvage tens of thousands of dollars worth of cabinets, hardware and fixtures.

Demolition of the property began in January and has been completed.

Her ex-husband has a new home about 30 miles away in Jupiter that until his multiple affairs ended his marriage was going to be the family home for his daughter Sam and son Charlie. (ANI)
