Newcastle's Gutierrez certain of ruining fellow Argentineans' party by beating Man City

London, May 4(ANI): Newcastle United winger Jonas Gutierrez is confident he can spoil his fellow Argentineans Carlos Tevez, Pablo Zabaleta and Sergio Aguero's party by beating their team Manchester City at the Sports Direct Arena, which would give Manchester United a huge boost to clinch their 20th Premier League title.

Gutierrez is aware that defeat for City with only one game to go would virtually hand the title back to bitter rivals United.

But Alan Pardew's Newcastle are just as desperate for all three points in their bid for the top four, which can propel them back in the Champions League.

"If City want to get the title they will have to come to our place and win. And that will not be easy for any team. They know how good we are and it is going to be massive," The Sun quoted Gutierrez, as saying.

"They have a few Argentineans in their squad who I know very well from our time together. Carlos didn't have a great start to the season as everyone knows, but he has come back and been really, really strong in the last few weeks," he added.

"I think he is fine now so it is very important that we don't give Carlos or Sergio any space or they will punish us. We know we have to be fully focused for the full 90 minutes on Sunday. But we have been excellent at home this season and every team that comes here knows how difficult it is going to be for them," he said. (ANI)
