Russia's Bogomolov retires a point before losing at French Open

Paris, May 29(ANI): Russian tennis star Alex Bogomolov Junior retired just a point before losing his first round match at the French Open tp Arnaud Clement of France.

The Russian was trailing Clement 6-2 3-6 4-6 7-6 (7-2) 5-4 yesterday when he quit the match while serving on match point .

"I got cramps and I retired. My whole leg was straight. I couldn't bend it. I couldn't walk," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Bogomolov, as saying.

"I didn't want to risk a potential ligament damage or something. And you can't get a trainer for that," he added. (ANI)
