Guardiola to hold talks with Abramovich before deciding to become Chelsea chief

London, May 30 (ANI): Ex-Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has demanded talks with Roman Abramovich before deciding whether or not to become Chelsea coach.

The Blues have been chasing the ex- Barcelona boss with an 11 million pound-a-year offer.

Guardiola has also been promised there will be no pressure on him to win major trophies in his first two years in charge while he reshapes the club.

However, despite a meeting with Blues officials in Spain, he still remains unconvinced.

The Sun quoted a Chelsea source as claiming, "If it takes a big meeting with Abramovich to get the deal done, that's what must happen."

Abramovich is ready to meet Guardiola, who remains keen on a sabbatical, leaving interim boss Roberto Di Matteo uncertain about his future. (ANI)
