Justin Bieber and Becks help boost fragrance sales

London, June 4 (ANI): Justin Bieber and David Beckham have triggered a boom in the fragrance market.

The Fragrance Shop has seen a 23 percent rise in sales because of celebrity branded ranges such as Homme from Becks.

While girl fans of pop star Beiber are going for his Someday, lads are splashing on Be Reem, from TV hit 'TOWIE' the Daily Star reported.

The Fragrance Shop has 135 stores but wants to open another 100 sites over the next five years, creating around 500 jobs.

It saw sales rise 70.4million pounds this year, with best-selling products including new launches from big names Jimmy Choo and Diesel.

The company said sales of men's fragrances increased at their fastest rate, accounting for 40percent of sales due to new scents including Gucci's Guilty Pour Homme .

Perfume generated UK sales of 1.4billion pounds in 2011, with analysts predicting growth of 45 pounds over the next five years.

Meanwhile Lady Gaga is set to become the latest celeb to cash in with her fragrance Monster. (ANI)
