Islamabad, June 4 (ANI): Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf, referring to the Australia tour snub where he was replaced as captain, has said he has never been desperate for the captaincy.

"The Pakistan captaincy is not something that I have craved over the years. I didn't know when I was going to be captain and when I was not going to be captain, it's all in the Almighty's hands," Pak Passion quoted Yousuf, as saying.

"It's not something that I have been desperate for or indeed aimed to do, I have just preferred to look to perform to the best of my ability over the years," he added.

Yousuf also said the Australia ns have always been a tough competition.

"Over the years whenever I have played against them in every format they do not give you an inch, they are never beaten and they have always been a very difficult team to play against," he said. (ANI)
