Bayern may table 20million pounds bid for Man City striker Dzeko

   Jun 9, 3:26 pm

London, June 9(ANI): German giants Bayern Munich are mulling a 20 million pound bid for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

The City hierarchy is keen to bring Bayern midfielder Thomas Mueller at Etihad, and might ask for him in return for Dzeko.

Dzeko, who cost City 27 million pound from Wolfsburg 18 months ago, has witnessed first team opportunities hard to find so far during his tenure.

According to The Sun, German sources insist Bayern plan to make a move for the Bosnian striker.

City have also been alerted to the fact that attacking midfielder Muller has hinted he may have to quit the Allianz Arena for regular first-team action, and the prospect of landing Muller in exchange for Dzeko plus around 5 million pound is hugely appealing to Etihad chiefs. (ANI)
