Euro 2012 campaign up and runningRecalling the dark days after England's shocking exit from the 201 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the star Manchester United striker felt that he was now in a much better space at the Euros and enjoying life far more with teammates in the lively Polish city of Krakow."I think everyone has been fine here. I don't know why. I think the players just feel the tournament seems a lot shorter, whereas in South Africa, it felt like it was dragging out. We went to Austria for two weeks before the World Cup and by the time we got to the tournament our heads had gone a bit already," the Daily Express quoted him, as saying."All the squad are happy, we're all playing in the games room together, are in and out of each other's rooms and enjoying it. It's a happy camp," he added.Striker Andy Carroll mirrored Rooney's sentiment. He said, "We are really close," he said.
