DA case: BCCI Chief N Srinivasan appears before CBI

Hyderabad, June 18 (ANI): Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI) president and India Cements Managing Director N Srinivasan appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) here in connection with a disproportionate assets case against YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy, on Monday.

Srinivasan is currently being probed by the CBI sleuths at Dilkusha Guest House, sources said.

The CBI is probing the alleged investments made by India Cements in the firms promoted by Reddy, during the tenure of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister., sources revealed.

Some other cement companies are also likely to be probed about water and limestone allocations made to them during YSR Reddy's tenure.

The CBI, in its three charge-sheets filed against Jaganmohan Reddy and others, has alleged that he and his father granted favours to certain firms, which made investments in Jagan's businesses as a quid pro quo.

Jagan is currently in judicial custody till June 25. (ANI)
