Nicole Scherzinger left 'fuming' over 'X Factor' economy flight

London, July 23 (ANI): Nicole Scherzinger was forced to fork out thousands of pounds for a first-class plane ticket after the X Factor bosses booked her into economy class.

The 34-year-old X Factor judge was even denied a free upgrade by British Airways for her flight from Heathrow to LA.

So she reluctantly paid 3,500 pounds out of her own money to switch from her 1,200 pounds seat.

According to an insider, "Nicole was fuming", the Sun reported.

"She always flies first-class but she was amazed to find that she had been booked into economy," the insider said.

"The X Factor books all of her flights - but she hadn't expected this.

"Nicole spent 20 minutes trying to get BA to upgrade her but in the end she had to put her hand in her pocket," the source added. (ANI)
