Manchester, July 24 (ANI): Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has confirmed his interest in Sao Paulo winger Lucas Moura .

Ferguson though denied having reached an agreement, reported to be 26 million pounds, for the 19-year-old member of Brazil's Olympics squad.

"It's not correct. We haven't reached an agreement for the player," Ferguson was quoted, as saying on Manchester United's website.

"We've shown an interest, but until such time as we get a deal agreed, we can't say he's our player," he said.

United has already boosted their squad this summer with 23-year-old Japan international midfielder Shinji Kagawa and teenager Nick Powell, Sport24 reports.

Ferguson also confirmed the club is hoping to bring in more than one player before the start of the 2012-13 season. (ANI)
