Boyle directed London Olympics opening ceremony touted to be most amazing ever

London, July 24 (ANI): The opening ceremony for the Olympic Games is set to be the most amazing ever, featuring incredible firework and light shows, according to a report.

According to The Sun, the ceremony masterminded by Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle, will take the audience through a dazzling journey from lush English countryside to the Sex Pistols.

The ceremony will feature classic British tunes like Jerusalem and Flower of Scotland , cut together in a modern DJ mash-up.

The audience will get 3D glasses and will also be asked to sing a popular classic number I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles.

The show also includes sheep and geese as the scene moves from a pastoral to industrial setting.

The ceremony will end with thousands of day-glo'd clubbers raving to modern tracks. (ANI)
