London, August 11 (ANI): Team GB's women's football team has made a hilarious video that shows them lip syncing to S Club 7 'Reach For The Stars' song.

They may still be reeling from their 2-0 quarter-final loss to Canada, but the Team GB women's football team are not letting the defeat rain on their Games parade.

The 18-strong team gave the world a glimpse of how much they enjoyed their Olympic experience in the new video which sees them miming and dancing along to the S Club 7 track.

Since the video hit the web, there have been pages of supportive comments for it.

The video conveyed the joys of competing at Olympic level and served as a fly-on-the-wall documentary into how close the team became while experiencing the highs and the lows of the Olympic Games over their four matches.

"We had an amazing experience at the Olympics, so made this video to say thanks to everyone for the unbelievable support," the Daily Mail quoted the team's star player, Steph Houghton, as saying.

"The Olympics has created an incredible legacy for women's football and now we plan to build on it by encouraging everyone to 'reach' and #BeInspired by women's sport.

"We kick-off the second half of The FA Women's Super League on August 15th and hope everyone will continue to cheer us on as we return to our local clubs," she said.

And the fans can't get enough with one YouTube user commenting that people wouldn't see Rooney and Stevie G doing that.
