Women have broken myths, have shown how positive change has begun in rural India: PM Modi
Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Mar 08 (ANI): Speaking at the women’s conclave in Gandhinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the sarpanchs and their trailblazers and said that today they had gathered for honouring Sarpanchs who have contributed immensely to the movement towards a clean India. PM Modi added that these women have broken many myths and have shown how a positive change has begun in rural India. He also said that villages with women Sarpanchs can play key role and bring about gender equality.
