Tomato prices shoot up to Rs 60-70 per kg in Delhi
New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): Retail price of tomatoes shot up to 60-70 rupees per kg in Delhi, hurting the pocket of a common man. Wholesale traders in Delhi are attributing the rising price to tight supplies as a result of showers damaging tomato crop in producing states. At Azadpur, tomato prices have jumped to Rs 20-50 depending on the quality. Prices a fortnight ago were ruling at Rs 5-15.
