Telangana CM meets Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, expresses gratitude for forest clearance

New Delhi, June 28 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao called on Union Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Dr. Harsh Vardhan and thanked him for giving forest clearances to the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project. KCR met the Union Minister at the latter's office chambers and thanked him for giving clearance for utilisation of 7,920 acres of forest land for the project. Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya was also present on the occasion. The chief minister also invited Vardhan to the inauguration of the second phase of the Haritha Haram programme and also extend funding for plantation of 230 crore saplings as part of the scheme.
