L&T Construction wins several large contracts for buildings and factories

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mar 25 (ANI): The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro said on Monday it has secured various large orders from clients across different states.
Its buildings and factories business bagged an order from Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation for construction of two 500-bed hospitals at Jamshedpur and Dumka.
Another order has been secured from a leading developer for the construction of a 108-metre high commercial complex at Raidurgam in Hyderabad. It will have a built-up area of 3.6 lakh square metres and will be completed within 32 months.
The business also secured an order from a renowned construction machinery manufacturer for the construction of a manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
Though it did not mention the value of contracts, the company categorises a large deal with a value of Rs 2,500 crore to 5,000 crore.
L&T's water and effluent treatment business received four orders from the Public Health Engineering Directorate in West Bengal for works in various blocks of Bankura district.
The business secured another repeat EPC order from Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for various works in Amaravati city.
Two EPC orders were secured from Faridabad Smart City and Patna Smart City.
Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over 18 billion dollars in revenue. It operates in over 30 countries worldwide. (ANI)
