New Delhi [India], Nov 11 (ANI-NewsVoir): In her endeavor to spread the Swadeshi fervor, Social Activist, Parull Mahaajan greeted all the Dignitaries and Diplomats with Khadi Stoles and Swadeshi handmade Arunachal Laxmi Ganeshas which were launched by Dr. Jitendra Singh hon'ble Minister for the Development of North Eastern Region at Prime Minister Office to promote 'Make in India' on the eve of Diwali.
Parull along with her team that comprises of Gaurav Gupta, Kundan Jha, Himadrish Suwan and several others started their day with greeting President Ram Nath Kovind ji at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
They also greeted Arun Jaitley, Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Dr. Harshvardhan, Union Minister of Science & Technology, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Ministry of Earth Sciences, Smt. Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and several Diplomats from countries like Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Russia, Venezuela, Mauritius, Fiji, Vietnam, Mongolia, Korea, Bhutan, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Togo, Eritrea and many more.
Parull has been working avidly to promote Khadi on a global level and wishes to take Khadi from Local to Global level. She also plans a conclave on the same with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. She works very hard towards achieving her goal which is "Khadi Pehne Saari Abaadi".
She wants to spread the message that Khadi or Handloom is not merely for the Politicians or Social Activists but for people of all generals specially the youth as it can look most stylish, glamorous and elegant when accessorized in the right manner.
Parull is also curating a fair fashion show called 'Style Me Sustainable' in the upcoming World Fair Trade Week from 8th to 15 November that will witness the participation of about 70 countries.
She is getting together the Ambassadors and Diplomats of various countries to wear Handloom/Khadi, walk the ramp along with the weavers, and show their solidarity towards the weavers and artisans of our country. This will be real empowerment of the weavers where they will come in direct contact with the International buyers, diplomats, and who's who of the country.
Parull is also associated with the forthcoming Delhi International Arts Festival, which will be held in November this year.
Parull received the 'Swachhta Warrior' Award, for her exemplary contribution towards Swachh Bharat at the National Convention on Swachh Bharat. Parull believes that the true concept of Swachh Bharat is not merely cleanliness of the environment and surroundings but the cleanliness and purity of our thoughts, words and actions and she keeps visiting various schools and colleges to deliver lectures on this subject.
