Chinese Super League kicks off this weekend

New Delhi [India], Mar 2 (ANI-NewsVoir): World's richest soccer league Chinese Super League (CSL) is here for Indian audiences with Discovery's DSPORT channel set to telecast the event from March 4th. The Chinese Super League will start beaming on March 04 at 1 pm Indian time. It is for the first time that Indian football enthusiasts will get to watch celebrated footballers like Carlos Tevez, Oscar, Hulk, Mikel, Alex Teixeira, the coveted CSL. In the previous editions of CSL, the title has been won by six teams: Shenzhen Jianlibao, Dalian Shide, Shandong Luneng, Changchun Yatai, Beijing Guoan and Guangzhou Evergrande. Guangzhou Evergrande was the champion of the 2016 edition of the CSL Key Highlights In the first match Guangzhou R and F play against Tianjin Quanjiang at 1 pm. The match sees former Yugoslav great Dragan Stoikovitch in a managerial role, pitting his wits against 2006 Italian World cup winning hero Fabio Cannavaro. Shanghai SIPG has paid USD 63 million to sign Oscar from Chelsea, while Shanghai Shenhua made 33-year-old Carlos Tevez the highest paid player in the world. 13 out of the league's 16 teams are managed by foreign coaches including 2002 World Cup winner Luiz Felipe Scolari, English Premier League winner Manuel Pellegrini, multiple German Bundesliga champion Felix Magath and former Chelsea, Porto and Zenit St. Petersburg manager Andre Villas-Boas.
