New Delhi, July 22 (ANI): Business goods and supplies provider, Tolexo, plans to lower its order-to-cancellation ratio to 2 percent, by making investments to improve its supply chain management and logistics. Tolexo had earlier brought down to the order-to-cancellation ratio 5 percent from 13 percent within a span of six months. It will also look into increasing its product assortment and the number of cities where products are delivered. "Lack of infrastructure and poor supply chain management are the biggest challenges for e-commerce in India. We are already dispatching 95 percent packages successfully with minimal cancellations or returns and are looking at taking this number to 98 percent. We hope to achieve this through investments in logistics and supply chain infrastructure, enhancing our product assortment and increasing the number of cities where we deliver goods," said Mayank Kamal, Head of Tolexo Supply Chain vertical. Tolexo has achieved its improved order-to-cancellation ratio through development of inventory management algorithms, working with vendors to make them comfortable with the tech platform and has created an in-house seller panel customised precisely for the B2B ecosystem. The company has also launched a seller engagement and training programme to improve the supply chain. (ANI)
