48th IFFI to kick start tomorrow

Panaji (Goa) [India], Nov 19 (ANI): The 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is all set to kick start here from Monday and continue till November 28.

The extravagant film festival will celebrate the best films from across the globe.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will also be attending the festival on one of the days during the week.

The CEO of Entertainment Society of Goa told ANI, "This year's festival is celebrating future of cinema. We have, apart from a fantastic selection of more than 200 Indian & international movies, a wide range of panel discussions and master classes focusing on new technologies and narratives in cinema."

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be conferred with the 'Indian Film Personality of the Year Award' at the 48th IFFI.

In 2013, when the Indian cinema completed its 100 years, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B) introduced the award to commemorate this milestone and honour a legendary film artist. (ANI)
