B-town wishes peace, love and happiness to fans on Gurupurab

New Delhi [India], Nov 04 (ANI): This is probably one of the most auspicious days in the Sikh calendar as Guru Nanak Gurpurab or Guru Nanak Jayanti is being celebrated all across the world.

This year marks the 548th birthday of Guru Nanak.

As the world celebrates the auspicious day, Bollywood celebrities including Boman Irani, Amitabh Bachchan, Neha Dupia and Adnan Sami? took to their Twitter handle to wish peace, love and happiness.

Here's what Bollywood celebrities wrote:

The '3 idiots' star Boman Irani wrote, "?This #GuruNanakJayanti, may we all learn from his teachings of empathy, peace & generosity.. #GuruPurab di lakh lakh vadhaiyan to one & all!"

Actress Neha Dhupia wrote, "Gurupurab diyan sab nu lakh lakh vadhaiyan ??"

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor also wished happiness for everyone, writing, "May Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspire you to achieve all your goals, bless you with peace, love & happiness! Happy #Gurpurab !! #GuruNanakJayanti"

"May the teachings of Guruji guide us all to a path of compassion and selfless service. Happy #GuruNanakJayanti to all," tweeted 'Golmaal again' star Ajay Devgn.

Singer Armaan Malik wrote, "Happy #GuruNanakJayanti & #Gurpurab! May everyone keep spreading only peace, love and positivity ?"

Veteran actress Sridevi also extended her wishes on the occasion as she wrote, "Wishing everyone a very happy #GuruNanakJayanti"

Guru Nanak was born on April 15, 1469 in Rai-Bhoi-di Talwandi (now in Pakistan), and is known as one of the "greatest religious innovators of all times".

He travelled extensively to spread the message and teachings of God. (ANI)
