Washington.D.C, July 15, (ANI): Amy Schumer, the 35-year-old stand up comedian, has in an interview with Marie Claire revealed that the first time she had sex at the age of 17 wasn't consensual. "My first sexual experience was not a good one," reports Enews. According to the 'Trainwreck' actor, she did not realize the severity of the experience until she read through old journals, looking for material for her new memoir 'The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo'. "I didn't think about it until I started reading my journal again. When it happened, I wrote about it almost like a throwaway. It was like, and then I looked down and realized he was inside me. He was saying, 'I'm so sorry' and 'I can't believe I did this'." While the Emmy nominated actress is known for making raunchy jokes, this is the first time that she has opened up about losing her virginity and described the experience as non-consensual. Mentioning the specifics, she revealed, "I was always crazy, but I wasn't promiscuous, my friends were acting out sexually years before me. I loved being around that, but I didn't have sex until I was 17. And I didn't give a blow job until I was well into college." While talking about the bitter experience, Amy also said that she has no desire to punish the man, who took her virginity. "This was 17 years ago," she said. Meanwhile, Amy's sexual experiences have acquainted her of rape culture and victim blaming. "You know, with the rape survivor, it's not just shaming, it's fury. It makes people so mad if you're not a perfect victim," she explained. (ANI)
