Stallone, Scorsese pay tribute to 'Rocky' director in documentary clip

New Delhi [India], August 2 (ANI): A new documentary called 'John G. Avildsen: King of the Underdogs' on the life and career of the director, who passed away in June of this year, was released today. Directed by Derek Wayne Johnson, the film's interviews include Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Burt Reynolds, Jerry Weintraub, Martin Scorsese, Ralph Macchio and Avildsen himself. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> In a trailer, posted on YouTube, 'Rocky' star Stallone confessed that he could not have found any better man than Avildsen to helm the 1977 classic 'Rocky'. Veteran Hollywood director Martin Scorsese also revealed that "there was no doubt that John would go on to become a very important filmmaker." 'John G.
