Los Angeles [U.S.A], January 17 (ANI): Looks like, the 'fastest man on the planet' is inching closer to getting directors for his big screen representation.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the screenwriters of 'Spiderman: Homecoming,' John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, are in negotiations to direct 'Flashpoint', the Flash's standalone movie starring Ezra Miller.
The studio had initially courted Ben Affleck to return to the director's chair, but he passed on the gig.
The film has previously had two other directors attached. 'Dope' filmmaker Rick Famuyiwa left in October 2016 over "creative differences." His exit followed that of Seth Grahame-Smith, who had written the script and was attached to helm.
Daley and Goldstein are popular for writing comedies such as 'Horrible Bosses' and the reboot of Spider-Man, titled 'Homecoming', which earned more than 880 million dollars worldwide.
No release date has been set for 'Flashpoint'. (ANI)
