Washington D.C. [USA], Apr 19 (ANI): American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande recently opened up about the dark side of performing her music all over again and termed it as “hell.”
On Thursday, the 25-year-old singer kept things real and transparent when a fan tweeted, "Music is your therapy and I love seeing it heal you."
While many of the fans expected the ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker to agree with her fan, she revealed that's not always the case.
"Making it is healing," she replied in a since-deleted tweet. However she added, "Performing it is like reliving it all over again and it is hell,” reported E! News.
Following her comment on the post, fans rushed by her side to show outpouring support. Many told her they "wouldn't be mad" if she ended up cancelling the rest of her ‘Sweetener’ tour.
However, despite feeling "confused and tired," she was determined that she "won't do that."
When a fan asked the singer if touring was good for her health, Grande responded, "I don't think it is."
"Honestly. it's been v hard. I have [so much] on my mind and it's so heavy. But I'm trying hard,” the ‘God Is a Woman’ songstress shared.
She added in another tweet, "I just feel empty and I wanna have more to say / better energy to give to u and rn I don't have anything. love u."
This revelation comes after Grande’s iconic 2019 Coachella performance. The singer, who is the youngest performer to ever headline Coachella, performed more than 20 songs in a set bookended by ‘God is a Woman’ and "Thank U, Next’.
The ‘7 Rings’ singer recently opened up about her mental health struggles. Taking to her Instagram story, she revealed the "terrifying" levels of PTSD she had after getting a brain scan. Grande posted pictures of her brain scan on her Instagram story.
"Didn't mean to startle anyone with my brain thingy. It just blew me away. I found it informative and interesting and wanted to encourage ya'll to make sure you check on your brains / listen to your bodies / take care of yourselves too,” she wrote a day after sharing her brain scan picture.
She continued, "I love science and seeing the physical reality of what's going on in there was incredible to me. I mean, I feel it all the time, but seeing it is totally different and super cool."
For Grande, when she feels ready and "healed up," she wants to talk more openly about her PTSD and mental health struggles.
"I am constantly working on my health/learning how to process pain (aren't we all). Everyday is different but I'm doing my best,” she said.
On the work front, Grande trademarked her recent song and album titled ‘Thank You, Next ‘after its massive success. The Grammy award winner wants to come up with a beauty line based on the hit single and subsequent album which dropped in February, reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, Grande is currently performing for her ‘Sweetener World Tour’. The tour kicked off on March 18 and will wrap up in Switzerland in October. (ANI)
