Washington D.C. [USA], Sep 13 (ANI): It's not just Bobby Brown who's is at odds with the upcoming biopic on his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Now, her estate has joined forces with him to stop TV One from airing it.

The tragic music scion's 48-year-old dad recently filed a suit in a Manhattan Federal Court, claiming that the portrayal of him as a bad dad is defamatory.

According to, Bobbi Kristina's estate now joined the lawsuit, alleging that the biopic violates her right to privacy, which they claimed survived her death at age 22.

Both the estate and Brown have asked for over 2 million dollars in damages as well as an injunction preventing the show from airing.

The biopic, which at this time is still set to air in October, will star actress Joy Rovaris as Bobbi Kristina, actor Hassan Johnson as Bobby and actress Demetria McKinney as Whitney Houston. The biopic will also detail Bobbi's relationship with Nick Gordon, who last year was found legally responsible for her death in 2015.

Actor Nadji Jeter will portray Nick Gordon in the biopic.
