Washington D.C., [USA] June 26 (ANI): Continuing his spat with US President Donald Trump that was initiated on Twitter, Jimmy Fallon on his talk show said that the former should have more important things to do rather than tweeting to him.
In his monologue on 'The Tonight Show', Fallon said that he wanted to tweet back, but paused since he had "more important things to do".
"I thought, 'Wait, shouldn't HE have more important things to do?' He's the president! What are you doing? Why are you tweeting at me?!" Entertainment weekly quoted Fallon as saying.
Fallon's remarks comes a day after President Trump slammed him on Twitter for the hair tussle incident on the 2016 US President election campaign episode of 'The Tonight Show' .
Fallon also said that this monologue was a shoutout to "our show's number-one fan - the president of the United States."
Initially, the late night host responded to Trump's slamming tweet by promising to donate to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES).
"When Trump heard, he was like, 'I love RAICES - they're my favorite peanut butter cup," Fallon added in his monologue.
Continuing his onslaught against the President he joked and said, "A new poll found that 58 percent of Americans think President Trump is intelligent. In response, Trump was like, 'Okay, what did the other 58 percent say?'"
Even the first lady Melania Trump was not spared from his barrage of words. As, he said that that the anti-bullying campaign she supports is not up to the mark as expected.(ANI)
