'Rustom' flying high in Middle East

New Delhi, Aug. 14 (ANI): With a gross collection of Rs. 18 lakh on its opening day in the Middle East, Akshay Kumar starrer 'Rustom' is not only doing well in the Indian market but has also charmed the overseas audience. The opening collection is also said to be the second highest opener among all Akshay movies after Airlift, reports Pinkvilla. A trade analyst confirmed on the figures and tweeted, "#Rustom takes Middle East by storm. 2nd highest Akshay opener after #Airlift with approx. AED 1 million start on day 1 (Thursday). Cheerz." Several B-Town's celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, have praised the film and called it a gripping tale. The drama film, made on a real life story of a naval officer is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, features Ileana D'Cruz opposite Akshay. (ANI)
