London [UK], June 3 (ANI): Melania Trump's latest Buckingham Palace outfit, inspired by Princess Diana's iconic style, is as British as it gets.
United States President Donald Trump and his wife Melania, on Monday, arrived in London for their first state visit to the country since Trump became the president.
For her first meeting with the Queen at Buckingham Palace, Melania donned a white Dolce and Gabbana monochrome midi-dress with blue collar and matching waist-belt paired with a white hat detailed with a navy band around the brim. She completed her look with Manolo Blahnik heels.
Shortly after the pictures of Trump and Melania visiting the Queen went viral, social media users started drawing a comparison between Melania and Princess Diana as the 49-year-old chose a dress in one of the late royal's favorite colour combinations - white and navy blue.
Some also compared the look to the Ascot ensemble worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1964 film 'My Fair Lady'.
The First Lady of the United States has been on a fashion Spree even since she landed in England. The outfit was Melania's third in 24 hours.
She landed at London's Stansted Airport wearing a Burberry blouse and Michael Kors skirt suit. (ANI)
