New Delhi [India], Sept. 8 (ANI): Get ready for a larger than life fest this December in the midst of hills and valleys, titled Enchanted Valley Carnival. A gateway to all the excitement will happen at the Aamby Valley Airstrip on December 17 and 18. Post Universal Music Group's alliance with Twisted Entertainment, EVC has evolved itself to be the only Multi-Genre festival, creating a global benchmark. The fourth edition of the open to all festival is a treat for music fanatics of all ages. The festival will not only feature EDM, Techno and Indie, but also two new additions of Bollywood and International Pop, making it a perfect mix of international and homegrown talent. EVC will release the early bird festival tickets for the 2016 edition of the festival on September 9, along with camping packages for luxury and regular tents at incredible prices. While most international fests offer a particular genre of music, this year EVC claims to cover every spectrum of music making it first of its kind multi-genre event. Spanning two days, attendees join the EVC 'tribe' for a unique camping experience at the Enchanted Village. Alongside music, the festival offers world cuisine through the Culinarium, a round the clock (24hours) food fiesta to suit every mood and palette. Besides, the bar offers various specially curated cocktails and mocktails. The adventure sports is another exciting aspect of the event to look forward to, fun activities packed within two days, making it a one stop destination for all the excitement. With Professional adventure sports like quad biking, bungee jumping and even romantic hot air balloon rides, it has loads more in store. According to Devraj Sanyal, MD and CEO of Universal Music Group South Asia, "At EVC, we started the journey of being a differentiated festival last year by positioning ourselves as a true blue blooded Multi Genre Music festival, apart from already being the largest camping and adventure festival in the region. Being a "Made in India" festival and only having international English or EDM music didn't make sense to us from the long term. We were clear from the start that we wanted to be the Indian Glastonbury where anyone who listens to any form of music must find something in EVC for themselves." "It is undeniable that Bollywood and International Pop form a huge part of the staple diet of music listeners here in India and EVC is going to provide just that with the best of all worlds...Bollywood, Pop, Electronica and Indie music with some of the biggest names in the world and from here. We intend to be a glocal product and not a global product. Over the next few years we intend to establish ourselves as the premier festival in the region that allows for the entire demographic and psychographic of the Indian Youth to engage with us at a level that India has not seen before," he added. "My vision for EVC has always been about giving the complete experience & making it a diverse festival for a consumer - whether it's the music, camping & even the location we host our festival at. We started seeding it as a multi genre festival in the first year & today EVC is the largest Multi genre camping festival hosted at a premium destination that enhances the overall vibe of the festival. We have a power packed line up of International & Indian artists for every major genre this year which we can't wait to unveil," said Shoven Shah, the founder, EVC and director of Twisted Entertainment (M).
